

Off the Mat Into the World Workshop Join Heather Lindemann and Tracey Lanham for this six-week workshop series that will guide you through an intensive transformational process using vinyasa yoga and other tools to uncover your deepest passion and motivation. We will combine asana, meditation and visualization, experiential exercises, process work, group work and ritual with the practical tools of communication, organizing and collaborating.
In this workshop you will:
- Awaken your authentic purpose through the process of yoga (NOTE: some asana practice experience preferred but not required)
- Develop tools to put purpose into action in a sustainable way including a culminating service project which you will participate in with the group
- Take a deep introspective look at your own personal strengths, challenges and opportunities to live a fulfilled and purposeful life.
- Learn skills to be a more effective leader and agent of change in the world.

Doing yoga "right"…means feeling what's right for your body in your practice each time you step on the mat. Most alignment instructions in the yoga practice are offered to help keep your body healthy and to offer the full experience of a pose. Many cues, however, are not body-specific.
We are each residing in individual, ever-evolving bodies. Our yoga practice does not need to be a one-size-fits-all routine. In this workshop, we’ll take a closer look at some often-practiced poses. We’ll discover what each pose is meant to do for your body, what alignment cues could be most beneficial on any given day, and we’ll learn to make them accessible elements of your constantly-growing pose repertoire.

Turning it Upside Down:Exploring Inversions- |
| We will gain a new perspective in this workshop by playing with all the best-known inversions: Handstand (Adho Mukha Vrksasana), Headstand and Tripod Headstand (Sirsasana I & II), Forearm Stand (Pincha Mayurasana), and maybe even Bakasana and Parsva Bakasana (Crow & Side Crow). This is gonna be full and fun two hours! Be ready to play. |
